Clean Household : In pandemic I relearned the term clean! I had spent time like may of us researching and trying “clean” home products. I had already made the switch from conventional laundry soap to a more earth friendly ( or so I thought) one. I learned what fabric softner does to fabric? really….( but I hate static so I use the sheets in my dryer for now).

Unscented detergents, organic cotton unpaper towels, a glass-bottled set of essential-oil-based cleansers—these are things you can get behind even if you dread laundry and dinner clean up. Even better news: These items cut back on plastic and waste. And when you nix the toxic ingredients found in conventional products, you don’t miss anything: This clean stuff works just as well to…clean.

Here’s my list to bring your household into a CLEAN routine.

Super Natural Cleaning products:
Supernatural is void of everything we used to loathe about conventional cleaning products—odd-smelling solutions, toxic fumes, landfill-bound plastic containers. In their place? incredible-smelling essential oils and reusable glass containers. This set comes with four concentrates: one for the bathroom, one for glass, one for wood, one for countertops. And when your house smells like fresh basil, eucalyptus, and lime, you’ll be hooked. They just came out with Personal deoderant…. i’m in the process of testing, more on that later and I am addicted to the powdered hand soap! Not only does it use less of our precious water but smalls amazing ! I’m excited to see what else this company comes up with.

Laundry soap

Well for years it was Meyers, then I tried Evergreen during pandemic shortages. Seems both are not so great. So…..I’m testing Planet and seventh generation for y laundry needs. Id already gotten myself some wool balls from Common Good and like them for laundry soap too.

Dish and hand soap

This has been the hardest ever for me to transition. Smell is super important to me and Id like an essential oil based product that can clean my hand washed dishes! Ive tried common goods, and I like ithe preformance but I prefer more of a sent journey doing the dishes…. I mean who doesnt want to be transported while performing this task?? Guess its worth me trying my hand at blending my own. Ill keep you updated on progress here. Hashish, Nag Champa, vervaine and mesquite all call to me. As does neroli lime and a little bergomat. Guess I could be on to something. As for hand soap I’ll stick with the super natural powder for now. But try Dr. Bronners or Seventh Generation.
