I have been doing hair since the early eighties, and for most of that time I never once questioned what was in the bottle. Nobody in this industry did.
Then I was diagnosed with skin cancer, and I started reading labels the way you only read them once it has stopped being theoretical. What I found made me take the whole business apart and build a smaller one.
