   San Clemente-

Encinitas- My all time SoCal beach bum surfer vibe destination. I can literally walk everywhere I want to be here. I especially like an area called Leucadia! Bordered by the surf-liner railway and sandstone cliffs its tiny and oh so beautiful. Like Bolinas here in NorCal or Silverlake/sunset junction in LA but on the ocean. Lot’s of Bay Area Transplants here, crafters, and hand made arts entrepreneur’s along with aging surfers, generational locals, a few retirees and scrappy 30 year olds living small. Leucadia has two of the smallest most expensive trailer parks ever! But the 3 blocks to the beach makes it all worth while. Check out Moonlight beach or may favorite Grandview Beach for a day of watching surf kids go for it after school or old pro’s on the most mellow beginner waves ever. You can walk flat beach here for miles! I dream I live here every day!

Imperial Beach- between San Diego Bay and the naval Station this is almost Mexico its so far south. Originally a 70’s surf town, it has a long strip of flat beach and a view of the Mexican border mountains. Fast becoming the last affordable beachfront.
